Clemson Game w/ the Liddles

Future Clemson Tiger Cheerleaders!
Goooooooooo TIGERS!!!!
The boy are chowing down.

We had a blast with the Liddle's at the game. Yeah, the boys finally "let" the girls come. We brought lots of yummy food for tailgating and of course we ate way too much. We ended up being able to sit together which was nice, but we were also a whole heck of a lot closer to God than we were to the field. In the pictures you will see sky directly behind us. That would be the very top of the stadium. Yes, I was a "tad" bit freaked out, and I did plaster myself to the row behind us for approximately 10 minutes, but after that it was all good! The girls ended up leaving at half time to get some beauty rest, and the boys stayed to watch the Tigers win! What a fun day.
More Clemson Fun!!!

Saturday, September 13th: Go Tigers!!!
Today Dan and Cole had some boy time and went to the Clemson game. (Dan managed to score 2 season tickets and field passes for the all of the Clemson home games. As you can imagine, Cole was very excited when he found out that he would be Daddy's game pal! ) Cole got some really good shots of some of the players before the game, and they took some cute pictures up in the stands. Dan is already beginning to groom his little Clemson Tiger. There will be NO Gamecocks in this family!!!

Girls Day Out: September 6th
Everyone wants sugar from Jilli!
Today we decided to have a "Girls Day". Cole and Dan were headed out to the Clemson football game to do boy stuff, so Mommy, Jilli, Nonna, and Granna decided we needed to do some girl stuff. Since we were having our girl time, we thought it only proper to start our day off with a mani and pedi at the nail salon. We all picked shades of pink, but Jilli's was the pinkest of all! Once we were all relaxed and pampered, we headed off to do some shoe shopping and Jilli picked a beautiful pair of sparkling pink Disney princess shoes (not quite my style, but Granna and Nonna insisted that she get exactly what she wanted. Mommies never win with grandmothers around). We also visited the fish in the fish tanks, where Jillian graced the whole isle with a very serious and animated story about how she was the "Queen Mother" of all of her fish children. We ended our day with a yummy lunch and dessert at Between the Buns Bistro. What a fun day!!! I think we'll send the boys off more often :)

Back To School: August 19th
Standing outside of Mrs. Bryan & Mrs. Thomson's Kindergarten class
Cole just rode the bus home for the first time. He said "it was so awesome Mom!!"
Cole and Jillian have both started the school year off great. Cole has enjoyed his first couple of weeks in kindergarten at East End Elementary School. I can't believe my baby is in school 5 days a week, all day long. Jilli and I really miss him during the week, but it gives us a chance to have some "girl time"! Cole has started riding the bus home from school 3 days a week. Cole wanted to try it out because his best friend Wil is also riding the bus, and though I am not crazy about some stranger driving my first born around without a seat belt, Dan says I need to "cut the cord" (he is referring to the umbilical cord) and let him try new things. He is growing up so fast and becoming such a little man.

Jilli just started her K3 class at First United Methodist CDC. She loves her new teachers, and has made friends with a little girl named Amy. Her teachers say Jilli and Amy enjoy making each other cheese quesadillas in the kitchen center and playing with the ponies. I walked in the other day to pick her up and she was having a conversation with her teachers about "green boogers"! You never know what is going to come out of my little chica's mouth. Scary huh?
